Hate speech is defined as public speech that expresses hate or encourages violence towards a person or group based on something such as race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.

It depends on what the hate speech is on, if it's on hating pistachio ice cream then it should be protected, but if it's something like a racist ideal/belief then it should not be protected by freedom of speech laws
@4SNPK4B3yrs3Y
Speech that incites violence should not be protected by freedom of speech laws. A well‐written law will say something like that instead of using the phrase “hate speech”.

How about we just get a better education system so that people don't use hate speech in the first place?
