Su praėjimu popiežiaus Pranciškaus, Katalikų Bažnyčia ruošiasi istoriniam konklavui, kuris išsirinks jos kitą lyderį. Tarp pagrindinių kandidatų yra kardinolai iš įvairių kultūrų, įskaitant jauną Ukrainos kardinolą bei kandidatus iš Afrikos ir Azijos, kėlantis galimybę išrinkti pirmąjį juodąjį arba azijietiškąjį popiežių.
